sol is our ‘sounds of liberation’ series. a music releasing/streaming series through which we invite all the artists to showcase something they aren’t known for.
example being: a DJ who is known for making stinky bassline wobblers, we’d have him/her/they sharing something ‘outside’ of these walls. The idea being to inspire the breakdown of the creative stigma that ‘you’re meant to stick to what people want’.
it’s not a particular sound that we want, but merely an expression.
